In the last eight weeks:

  • Two teaching trips to DC/Maryland
  • One week in London
  • Our oldest son’s 16th birthday
  • Easter
  • The Final Four
  • Visits from out-of-town friends
  • A nasty fall by my dad which necessitated a week in the hospital
  • My mother-in-law’s rapid decline and funeral after a long battle with cancer
  • Two trips to South Carolina
  • Four long runs including the Indy Mini (half) Marathon
  • Eight performances of Music Man by our oldest son
  • Four classes wrapped up and (almost) in the gradebook
  • Road trips to Cincinnati and Wisconsin

It’s been a blur and I’m just now getting my bearings again. Thankfully we have been surrounded and supported during this season by our wonderful church community. I’ll write more soon about some of these significant events.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
